Thursday, April 23: Self-Sustaining Communitites – Creating One Planet features Jack Anderson, an experienced municipal planner and trailblazer in green building concepts; Chad Thiessen, who brings extensive experience in multifamily property development; and Ken Nentwig, a retired landscape architect and a specialist in Rainwater Harvesting.
Saturday, April 25: Could COVID-19 be a Social Tipping Point? Dr. Trevor Hancock, a public health physician, recently retired as a Professor at the University of Victoria’s School of Public Health who helped to create the global healthy cities movement in the 1980s will be joined by Nigel Seale, a Victoria, BC realtor who founded Earth Day Canada in 1990 and was global chairman of Earth Day International in 1991 and 1992. What an impressive duo!
