In your informative article on the most recent meeting of the Qualicum Beach Airport Users Committee (QBAUC) you described how it lacked transparency.
Your article accurately reflected my experiences, and the experiences of others from the Qualicum Woods area, over the years.
In contrast, Mr. Geoff Graham, Deputy Airport Manager, has been very helpful, meeting me in person to discuss numerous airport issues.
He replies to the noise complaints I have forwarded to him on behalf of residents of Qualicum Woods.
And he, Arnold Schwabe and Ben Miller have met with fellow Qualicum Woods Residents Association Director Fred Dowe and myself to discuss ongoing airport noise and safety issues.
If only the Qualicum Beach Airport Users Committee experience were as accommodating to public participation and feedback on airport issues.
